Welcome to Tezmanian Devil Studios, I'm a HNC Sound production student at New college Lanarkshire.
I have created this website to display my portfolio and to showcase my skills as a studio engineer. I will be adding three artefacts of work I have created since starting college in Aug 2024 to show some of the skills I have gained. This year I have learnt to use a second DAW which is pro tools. The first artefact is a recording project from last year using Ableton. I helped record, perform and mix this track. The second artefact is a recording project for HNC using pro tools I helped record, perform and create my own mix. The third artefact is an out of college hours solo project I recorded, performed and mixed this track using Ableton.
The planning stage will be an insight into the artefacts I have chosen,
The development stage will be discussing my artefacts and what I have gained in skills to help me in a studio engineer role. A journal of time spent and order in which instruments were recorded.
The Evaluation stage I will highlight any issues and how I resolved them. I will reflect on my work and detail if I notice something I could of done differently or better to enhance the final project.
